Try Before You Ride

Try Before You Ride events help people of all abilities feel more confident when using the public transport system. This includes people with accessibility requirements, parents with children and seniors.

Public transport operators organise these events. The operators are Metro Trains, Yarra Trams, V/Line, and Kinetic.

Try Before You Ride October 2022

The next Try Before You Ride event will be held in October 2022. You can become familiar with a metropolitan train, tram, bus, and regional trains and coach. There will also be an accessible taxi.

Traveller’s Aid will provide a buggy service between the two Try Before You Ride locations. They also have mobility equipment for hire.

You can speak with public transport staff and learn about getting on and off our trains, trams, buses, and taxis safely.

Time: 10.30am to 2pm
Where: Southern Cross Station and Tram Stop 125 at the corner of Clarendon Street and Whiteman Street, Southbank
